It took me 4 years, but I finally found Robert's a couple of years ago. Best Salon I have ever been to. Robert's talent is second to none, and I trust his recommendations 100%. I love that he gives it to me straight. My only complaint is that when I am trying to catch a nap during my glaze, they are all too loud visiting and laughing with the clients............yea, that's pretty cool too. They go above and beyond.......never take you for granted.

Roberts of Course is a fabulous salon in Palm Desert. The owner, Robert, really takes his time to find out what look you are after and also explains what the upkeep will be with each hairstyle. I have my hair colored and cut here and his work is just impeccable. His blow drys and styling are also top notch. I literally never go more than a couple of days without someone complementing me on my cut or color and when I get a blow dry I have had women stop me in the street to ask where I get my hair done. His salon is relaxing, the ambiance is great (it is also an art gallery) and Robert is nice and easy going. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been searching for a talented hair stylist since I moved to Palm Desert. I walked into Robert's of course on El Paseo. Brian cut my hair, it was great. Next month the same thing. It feels wonderful when you find the right person to cut your hair. I feel like I discovered the holy grail. Brian has been consistent for about a year now and I figured that it's about time I gave the man the review that he deserves. I can't recommend Brian enough and can't give him enough stars. I am an entertainer and have to look good on stage or wherever.I am a magician and have to live up to " the elegant trickster " name that I go by.

I love this salon and I love my hair! Robert has developed for me the color that really suits me, which includes multiple colors, and a hairstyle that is better than anything I've had in years. He also uses organic coloring, which is very important to me for the health of my hair. The staff is totally friendly and it always feels like coming into a big family gathering. Even the clients frequently chat back-and-forth. Love it!

ABOUT ROBERT
Robert is Internationally known for his hair styling! Whether you have straight or curly hair, Robert will find the right styles and the right color for your skin tone. He and his team will have you looking and feeling your best. You can also feel assured Robert only uses the best products in the industry. Our organic formulation is not only safe for you, but the environment as well!
Robert trained at the Vidal Sassoon salon in London as Vidal's assistant for a year, then continued his education at several training centers around the world. Robert moved back to California in 1985 to work alongside famous stylist Jose Eber in Hollywood. After being with Jose for a year he was asked to open the Desert Marriott Hotel Salon in Palm Desert.
Robert opened several upscale salons across the country, all the while developing a devoted following. Robert’s Of Course Salon is located on El Paseo, the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert”. El Paseo is a fun shopping district with high end boutique’s like St. John’s Knits, Gucci, Escada, Ralph Lauren, Leeds & Sons Jewelry, and Tommy Bahama’s; as well as art galleries, many fabulous restaurants and a continuously changing public art display.
Robert is also an award winning and well-known artist and sculptor in the fine arts community. He creates beautiful art works in his sculptures and uses his artistic eye for beauty to enhance his customers’ personal style and “je ne sais quoi”.
Today, Robert is among a small cadre of well known celebrity stylists in California and his work has been featured in many publications and style shows for three decades
